Jidnyasa Initiatives is a nonprofit organization working towards improving the education, health, and overall well-being of children from marginalized and underserved communities in rural Maharashtra.
Founded with a vision to ensure that every child gets the opportunity to learn and reach their full potential, Jidnyasa works with government schools, children of migrant sugarcane workers, parents, teachers, and communities to create meaningful and sustainable change.
We believe that education is not only about access to schools, but about creating joyful learning experiences, building confidence, nurturing curiosity, and developing skills that help children succeed in life.
Through our programs, we focus on strengthening foundational literacy and numeracy, promoting reading habits, supporting school readiness, improving health and hygiene awareness, and creating child-friendly learning environments.
